Enhance Your Photography Experience With African Wildlife Photo Gallery

Contemporary living demands so much from this creature called man. The daily task of seeking money to provide for the needs of the family occupies most of its time. From early morning to the wee hours of the evening it toils to bring food to the table. In its spare time it indulges in leisure activities to relieve stress. One such activity is photography. As stated above, people are entangled in a web of activities that demand so much from its body. People are addicted with money and will eliminate others just accumulate more. But most are engaged in healthy occupations and have jobs in office buildings and manufacturing plants. The sturdy ones prefer to stay and work in the fields producing crops to feed the population.

With this unending hive of activities it is no wonder that humans get drained by the end of the day. Respite is urgently needed in order to replenish the body but for only a short duration. Weekend rest days are maximized with family and friends and are period for longer relaxations. Leisure time may be spent fixing things or engaging in hobbies.

Longer periods like vacations in summer or winter provide long periods of time to engage in hobbies. Most female seniors love flower gardening and communing with nature. The adventuring type goes out on exploring travels to different places. Others though prefer to enjoy long term hobbies like collecting stuff and growing bonsai trees.

Ancient peoples translated what it admired in nature by drawing it. The earliest known example of this are the cave painting found in the Iberian Peninsula. This progressed with the addition of pigments that gave life to the representations. During the middle ages techniques were perfected by masters who studied materials and methods for painting.

Artistic renditions often portray nature in all of its glory and magnificence. Flora and fauna as well as scenic marvels are favorite themes. Creatures of all sorts are copiously rendered in canvass and paper drawings. Humans also is one favorite subject be it full body or just the face. A kaleidoscope often finds its way into paintings.

The problem with scenic portrayal is that it cannot accurately copy a subject or a scene. The imagination of man is always infused in the work. It also took a long to time to finish as various materials have to be prepared for the use of the artist. Natural talent also comes to play in this endeavor.

An optical device was invented that drastically change how a person captures imagery, the camera. In its infancy it was a bulky assortment of gadgets that got assembled on the spot. It was not yet portable. Images had only two colors, ebony and ivory. Emerging technology made the device smaller and portable and the processing of film became automated.

Modern cameras are highly sophisticated devices with replaceable lenses and microprocessors. Storage has increased a thousand fold with the use of memory chips that store digital data. Film is no longer a necessity in image reproduction. The youth of today make use of cellular phones and other media to capture faces and posting it on the net. It can be copied easily using computer programs.
