Older generation always tried to replicate what is seen in nature. The mountains, the streams, the flowers by the side, people walking, and so on. This was true even in stone works where the favorite subject was the human body and that of animals, especially the horse. In the early nineteen twenties, artists began to explore ways in realizing thoughts translated into material impressions.

Products for craftsmanship command a high price in the market today. Great works of are often stolen from museums and are dealt in the black market. Legally sold items are auctioned by great auction houses that have been established over the centuries. Almost all countries in the world have facilities that house historical pieces considered as national treasures.

Modern practitioners use an assortment of materials to do impressions. Any surface that can adhere to paint is welcome. It does not matter if its flat or oval or rounded. Surfaces can become masterpieces even when not placed on an easel. Example of this is the story of creation, a fresco painting applied on the ceiling of the Sistine cathedral.

The homes of the rich and the famous abound in objects of opulence. The huge interior halls are an artist dream more so that the patron is awash with money. A once drab concrete and paint residence can turn into a haven of pure artistic expression and make the place become a dream world turn reality.
