Social Media Agencies & 3 Queries For Live-Tweeting

By Robert Sutter

Live-tweeting is an act that, at some time or another, we've taken part in. There's no denying the popularity that this has, whether it's in regards to television shows, live sporting events, or what have you. People want to get their word out, which social media agencies have recognized. With that said, if you're curious about getting involved in this, but may not know the ways to maximize your results, here are 3 inquiries worth bringing up.

"How often should I tweet?" More than the number of tweets that you post, it's of the utmost importance to be consistent. For example, if a show that you're watching is an hour long and you only tweet once or twice throughout that particular duration, you're not maximizing the time that you have. This isn't to say that you have to post nearly one hundred tweets, since such a statistic would be unreasonable in that time frame. More than anything else, consistency is key.

"Is there anything else my tweets should have?" You may already know what to add to your tweets. However, for those who may be unfamiliar, companies such as fishbat will tell you that hashtags matter. You have to choose the hashtags which are most closely tied to the material in question, which is a point that social media agencies can agree with. As long as you select the one that other live-tweets are using, your posts will be viewed by more users.

"Should I stop tweeting once the event is done?" The simple answer to this question would be, absolutely not. Believe it or not, once an event concludes, you can get even more out of your live-tweeting endeavors. For example, if you have taken several pictures during the event in question, you can tweet them out without fear of missing out any other details. It's a great strategy that Twitter users should take into consideration.

Live-tweeting is nothing short of exciting, as you can clearly see. It's clear that Twitter has grown leaps and bounds during the past number of years, which is illustrated by the number of people who have taken to this particular activity. For those who have been curious about how to get involved, hopefully the queries discussed earlier have expanded your understanding on the matter. As long as these strategies are set in place, you'll see results.
