Discover How To Use Symbols In Poetry

The use of symbolism in poems has over the years been seen as a style of writing that most poets explore as it somehow makes the poem interesting. Symbols in poetry are more of metaphors whereby comparisons are made in order to hide the meaning or rather the message letting readers or audiences of the piece think deeper and at times even seek some knowledge on certain matters in order to understand the message.

Poetry is a growing art that people are growing to like and appreciate more just like other forms of art and basically any artistic creation. Some even fuses music with poems and call it spoken word. Over the year this, form of art has grown popular to people from diverse location across the globe who are now practicing it.

One of the basic elements of poems is the use of rhyming word; moreover the words not just rhyme but should also make sense of the theme they follow. In other words, as much as the rhymes might be flowing, having verses that stick to a certain theme is critical. Just like in other artistic works, poets are known to have distinctive style in regards to their presentation, writing and sometimes both. However, it has been apparent that the style adopted by poets of today is better as it seems to attract more audiences than previous versions.

Poets are known to be entertainers but more so communicator; this is because they have a skill of using words and turning them to descriptions of events, experiences, situations and feeling which is then passed to the audience. However, the use of facial expressions and body language is indispensable in trying to connect with the audience and passing the message across.

Apart from just entertaining, poems are also meant to draw inspiration to the people listening or reading these pieces as a result giving them the motivation to better their lives. Given that most of them are reflection of the writer or someone else who inspired the piece, the words usually hold strong power for empowering and wisening people especially since they are about real experiences.

This is also a means of expression whereby one lets their emotion be heard by others who some of them identifying with these experiences. They may be filled with joy and some anger and others melancholy. As a result, different pieces are admired by different audiences based on their themes and the taste and preferences of the audience who receive these pieces.

Words are powerful and with them come a vast realm of wisdom that is eye-opening and empowering which consequently impacts those that read or hear them. The writing style of most poems is usually based on the idea of hiding the message by using metaphors whereby writers make sense of certain issues by comparing them to objects or events.

The poems of this era have over the past few years been receiving a great deal of fans and support from the youngsters. On the other hand, the internet has been a crucial platform in enhancing the sharing of these pieces from one writer to another and to their fans. This has enhanced the growth of this art and more and more people are inspired to pursue this art.
