Perhaps lesser people are still listening to any classical and opera genre of music. You cannot blame them though because that is not the trend nowadays. However, one performance coming from Dimash Kudaibergen, Kazakhstan singer who is into pop and classical crossover, had stunned the Chinese audience with his heavenly voice as he sang some operatic songs. It just means that this genre is still not dead and others are still having some passion for it. Furthermore, people should be aware of these talented male classical opera singers.

Placido Domingo. Placido is really notable and a Spanish singer with spinto voice that moved into dramatic tenor. He won several awards included Grammy as well as Latin Grammy. Aside from that, he is also an arts administrator and a conductor. Placido is noted for his best performance in Hoffman, Canio, Cavaradossi and Don Jose. In addition, he is also part of The Three Tenors with Luciano Pavarotti and also Jose Carreras. Their collaboration had become successful and famous.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky. This man received many acclaims with his baritone voice and his striking aura with his silver blue hair had included him in Peoples ranking of fifty beautiful people. Dmitri is born in Russia and his international fame began when he competed and won in a competition in 1989, beating another opera singer who is famous as well. However, he died in November 2017 as he lose his battle with his brain tumor.

Jose Carreras. Jose, a Spanish artist with a beautiful tenor voice, is noted for his performances from Puccini and Verdi. At the age of eleven, he started his operatic stage career then performed more than sixty roles and became famous particularly when he joined The Three Tenors alongside with Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo. He had gained many awards from his career as well as humanitarian works.

Luciano Pavorotti. Luciano is one of the most successful operatic tenors of all time. He was an Italian artist who gained the title King of High Cs in twentieth century. He as well is part of Three Tenors and had helped in expanding the opera music throughout the world. He also had some collaborations with famous artists outside from this genre and received an award from Red Cross.

Andrea Bocelli. In classical music history, Andrea became the biggest-selling singer and been dubbed as king of classical crossover. He completely became blind when he was twelve years old due to accident. He collaborated with Celine Dion in a song, The Prayer, and it won a Golden Globe Award.

Lawrence Brownlee. Many had also recognized him and called him with other musicians as the Three Tenors in golden age. Lawrence has a tenor voice and did lots of acts in Metropolitan Opera. He also gained several acclaims from musicians and did collaborations with Elina Garanca and Renee Fleming.

Philippe Jaroussky. So have you heard a male with mezzo soprano voice? Probably not, but Philippe is an example of that. You might cringe at hearing boys doing some high notes but this guy has perfect technique, making him sound beautiful. He has been doing many operas which proves the versatility of his voice.

These men had really shaped this genre. Hopefully, this new generation will also produce operatic singers. That way, this genre will continue to live.
